Garth, or I mean Mark, again some proofreading would be in order here:
Yes. THAT Tage Thompson, who was one of five assets that the Sabres received from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for Ryan O'Reilly. ROR led the Blues to the Stanley Cup championship in 2018.
The Blues won the Cup in 2019, not 2018. In 2018 it was unfortunately the Capitals. To date I still have not seen the Cup awarding ceremony of 2018 but if I ever need to induce vomiting I am sure I can find it online.
Thompson is taking accountability for Sabres are banking on Thompson to take a massive step forward in his development from former first round pick prospect to top six difference maker this season.
This is a Garth sentence if I have ever seen one. Come on, I know you are excited but please strive for some coherence.
Also, I wouldn't get too excited about the scrimmages. My guess is that the Eichel-Hall line can torch any defensive pairing that "teh" Sabres can put out there. We won't know how good the line really is until they play against the better defensemen and goalies that other teams have. |

It was glorious! Ovechkin even remembered to shake the other teams hands before he was awarded the cup..... |

How many premium pieces make up a treasure trove, is it more or less than the impressive haul that Kane fetched? |

We don't know how good they are until they are actually trying.
No question from watching the Leafs scrimmage that some guys take it easy during these things. It's a win if you don't get injured. |

What happened to the Sabres bringing in Victor Olofsson's brother? I didn't expect him to make the team, but I'm surprised he isn't even in camp, maybe competing for a taxi squad role. |
